Dr. Louis Hampers
Medical Doctor. Pediatrician.
In 1987, Dr. Louis Hampers graduated from Dartmouth College with his Bachelor’s degree. Next, heart his sights on earning dual degrees. He earned his Medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and at the same time pursued his Business Administration degree from the Wharton School.
Dr. Hampers then completed his residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in Pediatrics. He completed his sub-specialty training at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago in Pediatric Emergency Medicine afterwards. He also worked in 1995 as Medical Officer at the Presbyterian Church of East Africa Chogoria Hospital in Kenya for one year.
Following the completion of his sub-specialty training in Chicago, Dr. Hampers earned a spot as a faculty member at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He was named an Associate Professor in 2007, and served as the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado and the Section Head of the Section of Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
